The Story Behind Amambaih
Founded by designer Mariela Montiel, Amambaih is deeply rooted in Paraguayan heritage. During her journey to reconnect with her ancestors, she discovered the remarkable craftsmanship of indigenous artisan communities, including the Maka tribe. Seeing firsthand the economic struggles that forced many artisans to leave their homes in search of work, she was driven to create a brand that would both celebrate and sustain these traditions.
